When I found the cutest little Urchin on our last trip to Hawaii I knew I had to do something special with it. Instead of using it for one item to never see it again, I cast it to be able to recreate it in polymer clay and the result are these Earrings. Just 20mm in diameter, I used a blend of pearlescent, green and yellow to produce a Peridot colour or color and mixed in a little bit of glitter to compliment the gold stardust beads. The sea foam sea glass beads compliment the green and gold as well.
The earrings measure 40mm tall including the hooks. The equivalent is 1.5 inches. The hooks are gold plate over brass and nickel-free. Includes plastic ear stoppers.
Check out the matching necklace in my shop and I don't charge extra shipping per extra item.
PS...if you are ever concerned about ear sensitivities to metal, look to nickel, the most common allergen which is magnetic since it contains iron ore. So holding a magnet to a piece of jewelry will give you an idea. I often purchase nickel free components which turn out to be magnetic, but are coated, so in general a clasp, chain or beads shouldn't bother you with simple skin contact. If you have any concerns, please let me know.
If you have a design you want translated...I do custom work for both polymer clay as well as for Silkscreens. If you have a black and white drawing ready, message me!
For Tutorial purchases, please download them within 7 days or the link/s won't work and then I have to email you the files. I don't mind doing that but it might take me a day or two to get to your message. So much to do! :D
