Smaller than a Cent!
The flex mold you will receive is easy to use and produces beautiful urchins with great detail. It was very tricky to produce this mold as small urchins are very fragile and so the price is also a little bit higher than for the 22mm mold, but here it is. These make great beads!
My urchin molds are made from silicone, which means they are flexible and require no release agent. They are non toxic and can withstand heat up to 395 Fahrenheit. Sea Urchin chocolates, ice cubes are possible (as long as you don't also use them for polymer clay of course)
The finished urchin will measure a scant approx.16 to 17 mm.
These molds can be used with all brands of polymer clay, but softer clays like Premo is recommended since the clay has to be able to squeeze into the small indentations.
Make pendants, beads, use as cabochons for bead embroidery...let your imagination guide you.
Results may vary and no warranty or guarantee is given.
Inspiration / Story behind this Product:
I live by the seashore and can't help collect little bits and pieces of nature. I've created many beads, pendants and pieces of jewelry with these wonders of nature, but polymer clay is such a great material to recreate these materials, especially if you don't live anywhere near a beach.
Currently only my Tutorials are available for download as I rearrange my shop. My molds, silkscreens and other items will become available again mid-May. Sorry for the inconvenience.
